A book covering the first five years of the Moving Academy of Performing Arts, a Dutch initiative providing theatre education and practice to theatre makers from (mainly) former Warsaw Pact countries. The idea was to help young actors and directors – who had received a very specialist training and has been supposed to take their place in state theatres, until the crumbling of the Socialist system left them without prospects – to acquire the broad palette of skills needed to found their own small-scale companies.

The book was designed using the late Evert Bloemsma’s FF Balance. Evert added some Central European diacritics (still somewhat rare at the time) for this project.
